Writing Assignments - This course requires one (1) writing assignment.

You are to choose a Criminal Justice Agency (e.g. Police department, Sheriff''s Department or Federal law enforcement agency.) and incorporate two theories or two topics covered from this course that applies to that criminal justice organization. The body of the paper will be between 3-4 pages in length and should have between 3- 5 sources. This does not include the cover page, table of contents or Reference page. You must properly cite quotes you use from your sources using APA style. At least one of your sources will be from the text we are using. Legitimate sources would be text books, scholarly reviewed journal articles, or official governmental webpages. DO NOT USE Wikipedia or other such illegitimate sites as a reference.

For formatting requirements see the sample paper on the blackboard. It is very important that your paper contains a cover sheet, Table of Contents, Body of paper and References. You will double space and use a 12 point font such as Arial,Verdana, or Courier. Your paper will be in APA style. Your paper will be uploaded to the appropriate folder on blackboard.

You should upload your "DRAFT" paper to the appropriate folder so that safeassign can check your paper for any plagiarism. Wait 30-40 minutes before coming back to review the report generated. Correct any issues and then upload to the "FINAL" folder on the blackboard so I can review it and grade it.
