This assignment is to introduce you to basic research and referencing techniques whilst also assisting to further clarify a topic you have had difficulty understanding.

For this assignment, you should review a topic which was covered during the trimester (i.e. Weeks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7) and identify an aspect of a topic that you seek to clarify for your own learning outcomes. Ideally, it should relate more to physiology content rather than anatomy.

You are then asked to search for two Anatomy & Physiology media learning sources other than your prescribed textbook. These learning sources could be from anothertextbook, a journal article, a magazine, website, video clip or any other sources that you have come across in your attempt to further clarify this topic. These 2 sources should be different ie a video clip and a different textbook, not 2 different textbooks.

You should introduce the concept and explain what you find confusing or challenging about it and then describe how these two different sources have helped to gain a deeper understanding of the content (or not!). Reflections on the your own learning processes are essential in this assignment. You are asked to describe, discuss & reflect on the usefulness and quality of the chosen media sources in the context of what you learnt.

This assignment includes uploading links to these sources and commenting on on the advantages and disadvantages of the media source in relation to the learning outcome.

Post your report on the Discussion Forum found by clicking on the wiki link. The best way to do this is to write your complete wiki in word document format, paste it into note pad and then cut and paste your work from note pad into the forum. Please allow time to format your work.
