Question:

Choose a process at an organization of your choice (for example, your workplace) that you think needs improvement. The process could be a purchasing process, an employee recruitment process, a manufacturing process, a design process, or any other process of your interest. In two or three pages, write the problem statement.

The scope statement PDF posted in the Resources area within the Module Three area is very comprehensive. You do not have to create this entire document for your project. The scope statement should only identify the boundaries of your project and should provide focus for your improvement project. Your scope statement should only be two or three pages.APA style

To help craft your scope statement, here are some questions to consider:

1. What processes will the team focus on? Which processes should not be included and why?

2. What are the boundaries of the process I should improve? What is the start point and stop point of the process?

3. What resources are available to the team? What resources are not available to the team and why?

4. What is out of scope (or out of bounds) for the team?

5. What (if any) constraints must the team work under?

6. What time commitment is expected of the team members? What will happen to their regular jobs while we are doing this project?

Answer these questions and expand on them, and you will have enough information to craft your scope statement in paragraph form. If you see additional information in the scope statement PDF posted in the Resources area that will help you develop you scope statement, feel free to include that information in your paper as well
