In the critique address the following:
1. Can anything be improved? For example, is the sequence easy to follow? Did you understand all parts of the manual? Were there any areas that you did not understand, could not follow, or needed to read more than once to understand the directions?
2. Visit the company website and include the company web address in your critique. Does the manufacturer provide an online PDF equivalent for the manual? Should they? Do they offer live chat or a customer help line or FAQ page? Should they?
3. Are the steps numbered or bulleted? Are the steps in a logical order?
4. Are the steps written for the novice, mid tech, and/or technically savvy?
5. Describe the layout. Is it easy to read? Font size? Color? Printing quality? Is the manual text only? Images and texts? Or images only?
6. As a user, can you follow them easily or did you have problems following the directions in the manual?
