Question: World Religions

Instructions: 1. Write a 10 page paper describing and evaluating one major religion from the perspective of the Christian worldview. The paper should address the following:

(1) Present the history of the religion;

(2) Present the doctrinal beliefs and practices of the religion;

(3) Compare and contrast the Christian understanding of the gospel and way of salvation with the other religion's view of salvation;

(4) Critique the major doctrinal beliefs of the religion from the perspective of a Christian worldview.

2. Finally, the student should include a concluding section on what he/she has learned this semester about Christianity and other world religions. The student should explain how this knowledge and learning experience has and will impact their faith and practices.
