Question: The first speech is based on a self introduction to a company that has a position to fill. It has three elements.

a. Find a job announcement that you would consider applying for (either now or in the future) and submit the text of the ad along with the following elements. (The ad will give you required areas to focus on for your letter and presentation)

b. Write a letter of application and resume for that position that use a standard business format. (There are many examples of business letters and resumes online)

c. Prepare and deliver a 5-8 minute speech of self introduction based on the information in the first two parts of this assignment.The goal is an extemporaneous style (minimal use of notes and a sense of adapting to the audience and situation) within a presentation that demonstrates the speakers credibility and confidence.

The speech may also include information about your self that would be attractive to a prospective employer. This speech will be delivered via video and also will include a preparation outline. The format for the preparation is provided. You can also find many examples online.
