Write a paper detailing 2 different strategies that Netflix is using to customize it's offering for different countries. Within the discussions of each of the strategies, discuss how ONE of Netflix's operations configurations are presumably being altered or enhanced according to Mr. Hunt to support these strategies. In total, 2 different strategies and one operational configuration per strategy.

Operations configurations include primary activities (R & D, Production, Marketing & Sales, Customer Service) and secondary activities (information systems, logistics, human resources)

The following is some instructional detail that I hope helps you with your paper. It is my desire that you think creatively as you write this paper. It is not merely providing an overview of the article.

I think that some of the challenge in this paper is the "presumably which operations configuration is being adjusted". This instruction means that students have to make a link between two strategies discussed in the article with an operations configuration which is NOT mentioned in the article.

So choose 2 of the strategies Mr. Hunt discusses - I'd have a paragraph for each strategy and the presumed configuration. I'd define the configuration using content from the textbook, potentially. Then think critically how the operation could be configured to support the strategy Mr. Hunt mentions.

I am thinking about one strategy that Mr. Hunt mentions of "taking local content and finding a broader global audience" as a globalization strategy. Now I'm asking students to make a leap to which operational configuration might support this - I could see Logistics, for example. How might logistics be configured to support the production of Narcos? This is what you'd then write about.

Now how to weave in global edge. You could say in this example, Netflix strategically uses a Brazilian star in Narcos. According to Globaledge, one of Brazil's chief trading partners in the United States which is in line with Netflix's choice of starlet. Globaledge also indicates while Brazil may be currently facing some economic uncertainties the overall business climate is one of acceptable risk. (Or something similar)
