For example, you might want to examine modernization and reindeer herding society in the Lule Sami border area between Norway and Sweden. Or, you may find the Wola hunter-gathers of Papua New Guinea Highlands interesting. Still another society that you might find interesting is the Taureg agricultural society of the West African Sahara.
