Question: In the reading, the book discuses five building blocks of progress( See Attachment). One of the building blocks many leaders have a hard time doing is celebrating personal and team progress. Why do you think it is difficult for leaders to stop and celebrate their own progress on tasks/accomplishments? Why do you think it is difficult for some leaders to stop and celebrate the rewards/accomplishments of their team members?

What, if anything makes you reluctant to celebrate the progress that you and your team members make? Name at least two to three ways you can make sure to stop and celebrate your personal progresses as well as your teams?

In the reading attached, the author also discusses reducing cycle time on recurrent tasks. Can you think about what steps you could eliminate because they have little value and/or slow your progress down at work?
