In the Freeport case, we see the leader, Mr. Adkerson, faced with an important decision - essentially, doeshe find a way to stay in Indonesia or do they go.

So, the first thing you need to decide is - what do you recommend. Do you think the company should try to stay in Indonesia and figure out a solution to the impasse that will satisfy both the Indonesian government and the company or do they pack up and go?

Then, evaluate your recommendation regarding Freeport's mining operations in Indonesia with respect to the ethical responsibilities of the leader involved. To what extent does this recommendation for Freeport meet the requirements of the three pillars of the Triple Bottom Line - i.e., demonstrate how your strategy:

• provides for company profits

• protects the economic development and social welfare of the people of Indonesia

• addresss the impact on the planet of their mining operations
