We are only focusing on their "product identification" division. They have three. But we are only doing product identification.

• What this sector does:

o AstroNova manufactures and sells inkjet tabletop label printers for companies that need customizable labels.

o They have two different brands under this sector : trojan label and quick label. (mentioned in their website)

• What they want to do:

- Recently opened a sales office in India that is currently selling in the pharmaceutical and food and beverage industries. They have asked us to research new industries in India to which they could potentially sell.

- We will focus on new industries in India where AstroNova can expand sales of their QuickLabel and TrojanLabel ink jet label printers. We will research new industries that have the resources and a need for these label printers. We will present our top five industries chosen that we believe have the greatest sales potential for AstroNova's label printers

- Private label industry (store brand)

- Jewlry industry

- Nutritional supplements industry

- Essential oils

- Spirces

- Textile (bolts of fabric) industry

- You have to research the need for in-house printing labels in these industry. Is there potential? Why? Why not?

- We want to be able to target the segments that present the following characteristics:

- Growing? - fast

- Barrier to entry?low

- Channel? - available/accessible

- Incumbent/in house printer competition- low

- You have to determine size, growth, accessibility for the 6 industries. My friends will also do 6 each. All together we will decide which 3 industries to select.

• All research should be about industry in india. They want to expand and want to see which industry they should enter. U have to justify for each decision.
