Consequently, many technical workers were promoted as first line managers in the organization because of their good technical skills. However, they have found that these people get lot of difficulty in their new jobs and they have the tendency to continue their work as they were doing previously. This has led to a general fall in productivity and dissatisfaction among lower level employees. Consequently, the top management wants to carry out training for these supervisors with a view to improve organizational performance. In this context, you have been assigned to be the trainer.

(b) Explain the work of managers as proposed by Henry Fayol and Henry Mintzberg to the team leaders.
