Philip Cohen's news article is written specifically to refute teh claims of two books heralding a new world of women's ascendance and equality, or even dominance. However, Cohen points out, their claims do not hold up to scrutiny. It's not necessary to dwell on the books' inaccuracies in our discussion. Let's focus on the things Cohen points out are untrue and misleading, and why.
