3. Summarize the transcript in 100+ words , as well as answer the attached question : MGT312 Motivation Theories and Positive OB Transcript : ANGELO KINICKI, PH.D.: Hi. I'm Dr. Angelo Kinicki. You are really in store for something good this week in your class. Do you want to have a happy life? Do you want to achieve things? Then this week is going to help you. You're going to learn about motivation and what we call positive OB.Now knowledge about motivation is going to help you in two ways. In the first way it's going to help you manage yourself and you know what, this is my theory. If you can't manage yourself, you can't manage anything out there. So you're going to learn what motivates you. You can then apply that knowledge to the motivation of others whether it's - it's your kids or whether it's a person in a store. You are going to learn about yourself as well as how you can apply motivation theories to others. You are going to learn about what we call positive OB and positive OB is all about how can we create work environments where people flourish and I'll tell you. What I have learned from the best places to work in fortune to the people who work in companies that make a lot of money, they create work environments so people can flourish. You are going to learn what those characteristics are. You're going to learn about a concept called mindfulness, that if you practice, it can help you to have better relationships at home and at work.

4. Summarize the transcript in 100+ words , as well as answer the attached question: MGT/312 Question: How Do Employers Measure Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)?ANGELO KINICKI, PH.D.: Brian from New Jersey wants to know with respect to KSAs, how can employers measure abilities? Measuring KSAs is not easy. Many organizations create their own standardized tests to do that. So when you say you want to know how do they measure ability, the first thing that comes to my mind is what kind of ability are you talking about? If you're talking about cognitive ability, how smart you are, most organizations don't try to measure intelligence. They would rather try to measure abilities that are needed for the job such as maybe decision-making ability or communication ability. So my answer to your question would be organizations measure more functional abilities than they do how smart we are.

5. Summarize the transcript in 100+ words , as well as answer the attached question : MGT/312 Question: Can You Change Organizational Culture? Showing interest in people, you can start to change the culture. So changing culture is not easy by it is done with simple things and doing behaviors in a consistent way. Yes. You can turn around a negative work environment to a positive place.
