PowerPoint presentations are ubiquities, that is, almost everyone uses them to present their research. If you have ever attended a conference and observed these presentations, you probably found at least some of them dry and boring.
Review thePowerPoint presentation of the Gettysburg Address in this week's readings, focusing on the inadequacies ofPowerPoint to create an emotional response equal to the response to the original speech, and then respond to the following:
1. Discuss your emotional reaction to Abraham Lincoln's famous speech, presented using 6 slides.
2. People were inspired by the Gettysburg Address. Discuss whether it is possible to inspire an audience using a PowerPoint Presentation.
3. What would you need to do to inspire people using Power Point Presentations?
4. If you had to present the Gettysburg Address using PowerPoint, what might you do differently?

, use thePowerPoint Template to complete the written portion of this assignment. Then review theGuide to Adding Audio to yourPowerPoint and add audio to your slides.
Once your presentation is complete, save thePowerPoint as a Windows Media Video and then upload the video toYouTube. Please see guides in this week's Required Studies for each of these steps.
Remember to post a Youtubelink for this presentation in "Week 7 - Discussion: Oral Presentation." Then you must also submit aYouTube link to your oral presentation in this assignment.
Please note that this assignment submission is how you will be graded on your oral presentation.
* Please note that PowerPoint does not allow for the exporting of recorded narrations into a .mov (QuickTime) format on Mac. The directions provided in the guide are specific to PC users and will not work if you are an Apple user. You have two options:
1. Utilize a PC for this project.
2. Use Keynote rather than PowerPoint and then upload the file to YouTube.
If you do not have another option besidesPowerPoint, please watch this video (or read these instructions) on how to record PP in Mac. It will be a PP file with narration, but not a video.
