Qualitative Research Paper 13 pages-APA Formatting

Paper must be extremely detailed and must be organized for your readers to follow along.

It is important that you have at least 10 scholarly articles in this section. Research articles must be within 5-7 years, and must be short articles.

It is important that you chapter have an introduction that carries through from Chapter 1. *Research paper must have survey from teenagers.

1. For this assignment, you are to start writing chapter 1. The chapter includes the following mini-sections. Consider each section like a mini-paper. Give yourself time and patience.

The chapter should be structured as the following. Do not stray from this outline.

Introduction (6-8 sentences)

Statement of the Problem

Research Questions (at least 3)

Definitions of key terms - must be scholarly

Limitations (what you cannot control in your study)

Delimitations (what you control in your study)

Purpose of the study

Significance of the Study

You are taking your research questions and dividing up the topics. Keep in mind your research problem and questions. For chapter 2, you are exhausting the literature and research to justify moving forward with your topic.

Use your folder and post-it notes to move things around to see how things are structured. Most importantly, look at the variables that other researchers have talked about.

2. How to structure chapter 2:

Intro paragraph - mention what is going to be covered in the literature review. These should be your subheadings.

Following paragraphs:

Introduce the study

what are the results

Then, why are these results important - link to your research question, your study

There may be multiple researchers covering the same topic. These, then, should be linked in one paragraph.

There should be a concluding paragraph for this chapter discussing your variables which will carry over into chapter three.

Chapter 2 is extremely detailed and must be organized for your readers to follow along.

Take some now time to write an outline for chapter 3 - Methodology. This chapter is written in future tense. Remember, you are stopping at this chapter. You are not carrying out your research study.

For chapter 3, please make sure include the following for your outline:

Introduction - you have to make sure that the previous sections follows and flows through to the introduction to chapter

3.DesignSample - be very specific about your sample - geographic location, number of participants

Research Questions - this comes from Chapter One

Procedure - you must include interview questions if qualitative and survey questions if quantitative. At least 5 questions must be included
