Q1. Read the below paragraph and write what you think about it. If possible give any real example. You can ask the questions if any.

Towards my professional work, I always believe in the values of adaptability and accountability. The phrase "Spending your time and attention wisely", namely, means that one should allocate his/her time and attention according to, for instance, the importance of the tasks at hand (Kouzes, J. M., Posner, B. Z. 2012, p. 76).

In order to be more adaptable to the work environment, I often invest time into getting to know my teammates as well as becoming familiar with the knowledge required by the current and upcoming projects.

Building a relationship with my teammates and the team leader is extremely important to me since it provides me with the motivation and facilitates collaboration. Becoming more familiar with the background topics is crucial as it prepares me better at my work (by painting the "bigger picture") and offers me more support to handle any unexpected changes (flexibility).

At my past job experience working as a research assistant, my PI and research group leader require the teammates to be highly flexible with the project we were working on.

As such, my value was very much aligned with the employer. It is often necessary for the research assistants to be working on two or more projects at the same time and the experiment processes could be rather unpredictable. Therefore, employees ought to be flexible for any challenges arose from the procedures.

Q2. Read the below paragraph and write what you think about it. If possible give any real example. You can ask the questions if any.

American Apparel and Mr. DovCharneyare known for its trendy tops and jeans, but also as controversial for its sexually provocative advertising (Jones, 2017).

Dov designed and actively involved in these kind of advertisements, which sometimes deliver negative impression and leads to wide criticism from public even they declare that everyone like look beauty body.

The company and he may use this as a selling point when the company was operating well. Once the company is in financial crisis, all these amplify those negative influences even the true direct cause of the failure of the company is not the value but financial issues.

In addition, the sexual harassment lawsuits that against him was impairing the company's reputation. Then, the company took action to get rid of him to avoid the worse situation.
