Purpose of the assessment (with ULO Mapping)

The purpose of this assignment is to assess skills in working with Enterprise Architecture (EA) and understanding of EA frameworks and strategy.

This assessment addresses the following ULOs:

a. Design enterprise-level architectural views for the business, information, technology, and application domains

b. Report on the relationship between EA and other architectures such as system, solution, data, application and technology

c. Investigate the appropriate use of industry EA methods and frameworks

d. Report on the current and future state for a portfolio of IT applications

e. Develop a roadmap process for the IT portfolio to support long-term business strategy

Assignment Description

Investigate the following case study and write a report of approximately 1500 words. Refer to the Marking Criteria section below for the structure of the report. As the Marking Criteria section suggests, your report must have the following sections: Introduction,

Identification, Analyse, Design, Evaluation/justification, Conclusion and Reference style.

Hewlett-Packard (HP)

Write a report on the Hewlett-Packard Company (HP) case study (available on Moodle), minimum 1500 words.
