Public Service Announcement is any announcement made free of charge (unlike an advertisement) which promotes programs, activities, or services of federal, state or local goverments or the programs, services or activities of non-profit organizations. PSA's attempt to raise public awareness about a major social problem facing society and aim at changing attitudes and behavior concerning the problem raised.
