In the space below,describe the type of research method that the article authors used in conducting their study and explain why it was well suited for an investigation of their topic (Ex: individual or group interview, case study, laboratory controlled or naturalistic observation; administration of psychological tests). Refer back to the course textbook chapter on research methods for a review of method types and their purposes.

3. Participants involved in the study

100 word length minimum

In the space below, describe in narrative form (lists and sentence fragments cannot be used) the characteristics of the participants involved in the research study conducted by the article authors. What was the number of persons who participated; where were they recruited from; what were the participant demographics; were any participant screening procedures conducted; what criteria were used to determine who participated in the study and who didn't; were participants paid or did they receive any other type of compensation for being involved in the study; etc.

Note: Some of the above information is provided in the article's "Measures" section, so you will want to use both it and the "Participants and Procedures" sections to answer these questions.
