Project Topic overview

Topic: Fossils fuels and global Warming- is this really dangerous? What can be done to improve the situation?

The reason why I chose this topic is because Global Warming believe is one of the greatest threat facing our planet. Global warming is affecting the world at an alarming rate. A warming world also has the potential to change rainfall and snow patterns, increase droughts and severe storms, reduce lake ice cover, melt glaciers, increase sea levels, and change plant and animal behavior. Global Warming is a gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants. The more our atmosphere is heating up, the more it is changing our environment- Climate, weather, and natural resources that affects our survival and economic activity.

Fossil fuels are sources of energy that have developed within the earth over millions of years. Fossil fuels also provide the main source of energy for our modern global. Because fossil fuels - oil, natural gas, and coal - take so long to form, they are considered nonrenewable.  The world nations have spent more time fighting over fossil fuels like Oil and still fighting but I believe have yet to seriously think about the fact that some of these resources are nonrenewable and it is our responsibility as inhabitant of this planet to take actions and find the best possible solutions on how to stop or keep utilizing these resources in ways that these resources won't keep taking a toll on our environment.
