Project 2: Annotated Bibliography

Identifying a minimum of 5 scholarly and professional sources on the general topic of the impact or influence of race in the American criminal justice system. (Note: These sources are generally found in library references. You are encouraged to use UMUC Library Services and its 24/7 "Ask a Librarian" service.)

For each source, respond to the following questions:

Why is the author creditable (based on academic/research, credentials, experience with victim services, etc.) ?
What does this article say regarding crimes, victims, perpetrators or the criminal justice processes? (Brief article summary)
How does this article compare with the other articles you have selected?
How will this article assist you gain a clearer understanding of race as a factor in the criminal justice system?
Compose your Annotated Bibliography by 1) identifying and citing your publication, then 2) adding your narrative of your responses to the questions presented above.

The Annotated Bibliography will contain:

a. Cover page (Not included in page count)

Student's name
Program title
Class title and number
Date of submission
b. Annotated Bibliography (minimum 7 full narrative pages)

Article citation (APA format)
Responses to questions 1-4 above
Format: 12 font, double spaced, 1 inch margins
