Project -

In this project, Develop mathematical and numerical models for fractured bone attached with bone plate, to see the stress and stress shielding effect between the interface between bone and bone plate. For boundary condition please see the attached file. 3 point bending test will be performed to see the stiffness and flexture load. Screw (titanium alloy) position also have an effect on the stress. Bone plate will be consisted with two materials top part will be Titanium alloy (3mm) and bottom part will be magnesium (3mm). This plate will mimic the LC-DCP plate. Attached files will be helpful to develop mathematical and numerical model. In the mathematical model surface layer model will be introduced. And in the numerical mode voronoi diagram will be introduced to mimic the grain size.
