Track your personal water use for one or more days (see my calculations below).

Then do the following:

Calculate total water use, and compare this number to the minimum suggested by the World Health Organization.

Estimate how much water you could save by making minor lifestyle changes.

Estimate how much water you could save by making major lifestyle changes.

Discuss which of these would have aesthetic, financial, and/or health implications.

Share your data with the class. What are some possible lifestyle changes you could make to lower your personal water use?

My water consumption for 2 days- 20 gallons for bathing/washing hands, 18.5 gallons flushing the toilet, and 48 ozs of drinking water.
