Manage Discussion Entry One to five years from now I would like to be a health service Manager in the Georgia Public Health Industry. As of now I only possess nutritious skills for this job due to me was a dietary Aid years ago at Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center. However I still lack the credentials and certifications required for the position in of Health Service Manager. In order to be qualified for the position the minimum requirement is to obtain a Bachelor Degree, but a Master Degree would be preferred by Public Health. Also I this career I would have to obtain state licensing through Georgia pass a licensing exam, and complete state approved training. Certification not requires, but some managers choose to get certified and that would be an option I will take to make myself more competitive.

First action step to reach this goal is obtaining my Master Degree I the next three years due to I'm only one yare away from obtain my Bachelor Degree.

Second action step is to test for licensing and certification in the state of Georgia 3years and 6 months from now.

Third action step would be to start volunteering in two years at a Public Health facility to have at least three years' experience in the related files of health service Manager when I graduate College.

The barrier I have to cross in order to reach my deadline in five years is no breaks form school and continue to pass all my courses. Another barrier is making sure I pass all test for my licensing and certification. I do know an individual in a similar profession and he is a Hospital Administrator, so I look forward to his guidance and support toward my career as a Health Service Manager.
