Presentation on generating Heat Maps using R

Aim-Presentation should be as if you are explaining beginners on how to use R for generating heat maps. Remember focus is Bioinformatics

Minimal Requirement:

-PPT should have a minimum: (students need to include more than minimum requirements mentioned below)

-Ppt outline- what are the points your presentation will be talking, think of what can be included

-Overview- think of to give an overall picture of R in generating and heatmaps, may also include importance of Why only R for heatmaps etc, think of what can be included

-Start by providing them with an example data base from some national website where they can down load them provide with specific details where and which file  you are referring make sure the link works etc.-you will have to use the same data file in R using various methods to generate various heat maps.

-Way to generate diff types of heat maps using R, sequential steps to develop (include screen shots) so that others can duplicate and be able to generate the same heat maps.

-Later how to make a heat map look fancier, how to change colors,

-What is the algorithm part,

-what are the comman commands for heat maps,

-What are specific commands for each specific kind of heat maps.

-Explain what each command line is for -use basic English

-Include foot notes for each slide on what your intending to explain in the slide to others.

-No limit on no of slides

-Provide with available  additional resources that are online to use  R to generate heat maps for others.

-Have application  and importance-slide

-Have a conclusion slide

-All the PPT needs to be very professional, appealing, use of animations where required are encouraged, easy understanding and clear flow between ppt slides and also

-Add bit of humor and creativity to your presentation.

-Apart from all that are mentioned students should add their own thoughts and thinking in to the project to demeonstrate their critical thinking, presentable skills and

Understanding about the subject matter. The way of approach covering various aspects in the context yet keeping it simple and clear flow for everyone to duplicate just following the steps by duplicating what are shown in powerpoint slides are minimal requirements..
