Prepare a powerpoint presentation on "Effect of different cultures in UAE".

Effect of different cultures in UAE

The entry of expatriates into UAE has led to the presence of people with diverse cultural backgrounds. It is noticed that the values and traditions are exposed to danger. The effect of different cultures has even caused a threat to Arabic language. UAE has experienced a growing influence of other cultures (Western cultures) into Arab-Islamic country (Al-Shamsi, 2009). In contrary to this, there are several people from different nationalities who have regarded UAE as their home. This situation has led to an acceptance of Emirati culture by people.

The entry of different cultures has become uncontrollable as there is a need for large workforce in the country in order to carry out the business transactions. Different cultures have had their impacts on communication styles, religious faith, gender identity and group based culture (Riel, n.d). New people have failed to understand the social customs and manners followed in UAE. Therefore, their presence tends to affect the national identity. Moreover, cultural identity is prone to several threats as a result of Westernization.

Most importantly, different cultures have affected the dress codes, basic manners and perform activities that eventually disturbed the cultural identity of UAE. The inhabitants of UAE are attempting to reduce the situation's complexity so that their culture is preserved and they safeguard Arab (Muslim) culture. It is believed that the cultural disconnection needs to be controlled in order to suppress the negative impacts of various cultures in United Arab Emirates (UAE) (Sengupta, 2012).
