Making to many police calls can keep police officers from handling more important task that they should be taking care of. Fixing this problem is feasible if Wal-Mart can come up with a solid plan to cut theft and police calls

Question: How can Wal-Mart cut down on theft and police calls made to local authorities?

Hypothesis: Implementing greeters, receipt scanners, and a forgiveness program for those caught stealing less than $25 of product will cut theft and police calls by 75%

Independent Variables: Implementing greeters, receipt scanners, and a forgiveness program

Dependent Variables: The amount of theft that occurs and phone calls to police for theft.
