Please don't accept this assignment if you can't answer it completely & if you can't answer it with knowledge and understanding at a college level.

1. In the Final Essay Assignment you will need to respond to two of the three questions given. Each essay should be a minimum of 250 words. 

a. What leader that was studied in this course impacted history the most? This should be someone from Europe. Choose the leader who impacted history either good or bad and explain the rationale for your answer giving at least four specific examples of how this leader impacted history. Why was this leader so important and impactful? They should be from the period of the Renaissance to the modern era and we must have studied them in this course. 

b. What event in Western European history was most impactful from the Renaissance to the modern era? Describe the event or period and explain why it was so impactful and what about it changed history and how. An event is not necessarily a one day event but it is not too broad either.

c. Since the Renaissance, there have been many times when religion has played an important role in Western history. Choose a religious event between the Renaissance and the modern era and explain how that event impacted Western History. 

d. The essays should be your personal opinion and thoughts. Other than your text, do not conduct any research or use outside resources. If you use your text, you may only use it for background information. Do not borrow exact or very similar wording from the text. Your essays should be in your own words.

2. You may only write about Adolf Hitler, World War II, or the Holocaust in one essay. If you write about the Holocaust, you must do more than describe it. You must tell why the Holocaust is significant, why it is important, and how it impacted succeeding generations. If you write about Adolf Hitler, you must give four reasons as to how he influenced history.

3. You should allow approximately one hour for each question.
