Successful control systems are effective in ensuring good performance within the organization. They have a lot of control within the organization and have a lot of emphasis on approach within the organization and a number of choices that the organization has in order to ensure that the company succeeds in its operations. The flexible nature of the operations makes it much easier for the employees to be capable of balancing the various roles they are undertaking within the firm thereby ensuring ease in its operation within the firm.

Control on the other hand seems to be an act of the managers themselves and the employees are not involved in undertaking the various operations of the company as the management thereby making them feel less valued in this instance. The emphasis on a single approach does not create room for creativity and the roles that the employees can play within the organization thereby making them feel less valued within the firm and thus a decline in the level of engagement of employees in the organization's operations within the firm.
