PART I

Building an effective team is more than just choosing team members, you will to consider many factors.
Recall the dynamics of the organization:
Organization: Health Care Inc.
Employees: 15-20 thousand worldwide
Employee Occupations: Nurses, IT Specialist, Human Resources, Administration Staff, Management, Nursing Assistants (various levels & positions)
Goal of team: The business needs to expand to remain competitive in the worldwide marketplace. A team needs to be created to help the organization evaluate, justify, and propose ideas.
Business Module: Contract Nurses and Nursing Assistants to organizations worldwide.
For the first phase of your project, using your reading and other resources, create your plan for building your team by answering the following:
- Using the five stages of the team building process, create specific examples work through the stage. For example, what tasks or rules would you establish?
- Decide team size, select team members, and justify section.
o For example, which employee positions would you include (Nurses, HR, management, etc)
- Construct a reward system that the team committed to the goals.
- Develop a strategy to deal with team emotions.
- From your knowledge of teambuilding so far, prioritize the top three items that will help your team be effective.
o For example, creating strong team goals will help the team focus on the end results and enhance effectiveness.

PART II
For the second phase of your project, using your reading and other resources, create your plan for building your Health Care Inc. team. From your knowledge of teambuilding so far answer the following:
- Develop and explain how you would integrate a process to create collaboration & cohesiveness within your team environment.
o Include specific benefits to the organization.
- Evaluate the types of leadership:
o Select at least three and compose an outline of what leadership you feel is required for your Health Care Inc. team tasks.
o Give specific examples of task, event and/or situations that may need to occur.

PART III
Your new team for Health Care, Inc may consist of team members from different locations. Construct a plan that ensures a virtual team's performance will meet the team's goals.
Your plan should consider the following:
- Time frame
- Communication methods
- Communication style
- How to deal with individual team members performance
- How to deal with a dysfunctional virtual team
As part of your plan, create a communications skills evaluation process for team members. In other words, how would you evaluate each team member's communication skills?

PART IV

For the final piece of your course project, you will focus on conflict resolutions.
- Explain three generational issues that could impact a team and create a plan to deal with each situation.
- Evaluate three multi-cultural issues that could occur within a team and how the issues would impact the team. Create a plan that could be used to resolve multi-cultural issues.
