Part A: Assignment: Assemble a Personal Northcentral University Success Guide
Activity Description
In this final assignment, you will assemble your own, personal Northcentral University Success Guide, which will serve as your foundation for success. Your guide is a collection of the building blocks that will form the foundation for your success. Complete and submit the following:
• "Program Resources" Create an annotated list of resources for success. Base your list on articles, websites, links, skill builders, and tutorials that were presented in the course as well as any material that you gathered through your own searches. This list will be your personal catalog of success tools, so be sure to name the resource, how you plan to use it, and where you can access it. You don't need to include each resource you encountered, but be sure to include at least one or two key resources from each activity that you think will be helpful to you as you continue in your graduate studies.
• "Personal Success Plan" Review your progress in this course, focusing on the skills that you practiced. Prepare a brief chart that lists each skill and then lists, on a scale of one to three, your success on this skill: 1. Just beginning 2. Somewhat familiar 3. Mastery. Then, for those skills where you have rated yourself 1 or 2, write immediate and intermediate goals you will use to improve those skills. If you feel that you need additional resources/assistance, note this also. You are encouraged to update this plan as you proceed in your program. Submit one document that includes your "Program Resources" and your "Personal Success Plan" to your Faculty who will give you feedback on the accuracy of your self-ratings and also answer any questions you may have about furthering your skills. Your Faculty can work with your Advisor to see that you have access to the resources you need to be successful.

Part B: Assignment Create a Motivation Touchstone
Activity Description
During Assignment 7 you were told to think about a product you could create that would help you keep sight of the shore when the fog rolls in. Create that now. Examples include: a vision video, a PowerPoint, an audio file, a collage, a poem, a letter to yourself, a saying or quote, etc. This will be a physical representation of your professional and educational goals and help power up your motivation and keep your eyes on the prize! You might want to revise this as your vision develops throughout the program.
