It should not be in the form of a question

Research Problem Statement: (the Problem Statement will serve as the basis for the introductory section of your final proposal, directing your readers attention quickly to the issues that your proposed project will address and providing the reader with a concise statement of the proposed project itself.

Research Objective: While your problem formulation serves to describe the aim of your thesis, the objectives provide an accurate description of the specific actions you will take in order to reach this aim. As with the problem formulation, the overall objective should be framed in a single sentence.

The more precisely you formulate your specific objectives, the simpler it will be to define the type of study and which method(s) you will use in your further research.

Assignment overview

An e-Portfolio (electronic portfolio) is an electronic collection of evidence that shows students' learning journey over time Portfolios can relate to specific academic fields or your lifelong learning. The portfolio should include a statement of the students' goals, philosophy of education. and files which showcase the student's knowledge and skills (best work). Additional evidence may include writing samples, resume, photos, videos, and research projects. observations by mentors and peers. and/or reflective thinking. The key aspect of an e-Portfolio is your reflection on the evidence. such as why it was chosen and what you learned from the process of developing your e-Portfolio. Each example is accompanied by a reflection composed by the student. The reflection includes the course for which the file was created. the time it took to create the file, a brief description of why the file has been Included in the e-portfolio, and an explanation as to why these files demonstrate achievement (Adapted from Philippe Butler's 'Review of the Literature on Portfolios and e-Portfolios- (2006), page 2)

Tasks:

1 You will create an e-Portfolio using Google sites (Instructions how to create an e-Portfolio in Google sties will be discussed in class. A video will be presented and/or sent through the class WhetsApp group.

2. What to Include in your e-Portfolio

There are no set rules on what to include in your e-Portfolio because it is your creative outlet tc showcase your abilities and goals. But to help you get started, consider the following sections as a recommendation:

a. Welcome statement

Summarise who you are and a bit about what visitors will find in your e-Portfolio. Giv your audience a flavour for what you are all about and let them know what you value.

b. Career objective/profile

Write a statement summarising your objective. To make it meaningful, your object' should be specific and clear.

c. Résumé

Summarise your education, achievements, and work experience Include deta information on your skills.

d. Work samples

This information is as diverse as your background. Upload articles, papers. proji reports, and publications so your audience can see your work. Consider inclu graphics, audio and video for further illustration.

e. Study Abroad/ International Experience/Extra Curricular Activities

Explanation of what you learned that will benefit the employer; specifically completed projects with photos.

f. Awards and honours! Certifications

Scan certificates of awards and honours and any certification obtained

g References

List three to five people who have agreed to talk about your strengths. abilities and

experience Be sure to include full contact Information

h. Letters of recommendation and testimonials

Include feedback you have received from employers (if employed). colleagues. and professors
