Part 1) of two - I will just lay out the facts here, and let anyone who can, feel free to advise me. I am seeking answers, understanding, possible solutions or thinking outside the box!
`Broken neck about 15 years ago, 5th ligament in spinal cord - major neck surgery which included removing bone from my back.
`Started to get Ocular Migraines years later, thought to be induced my stress and/or a chemical imbalance. Doctors said there was no cure.
`Took me several more years to find a treatment that worked, which coincidentally happened because I had a broken hand from wrestling - right hand (main hand, dominant) in a cast for several months! Stress was through the roof! However, Tramedol fixed that, and after large increase in stress and migraines which included a loss in vision, Tramedol turned everything around!
`Found even after the hand issue, staying on Tramedol fought off my migraines which again are, were, optical. Not funny! I would use it daily for years, it helped/helps me greatly with focus, mood stabilization, creativity and thought processing, which all in turn reduce or completely eliminate physiological and emotional stress which in turn stops the migraines. I would have a worst case scenario of 2 or 3 migraines a week, effecting my ability to drive, effecting my work, etc... After Tramedol, I would not have migraines, EVER, years on end!
part 2) of two - `Fast forward about 5 years - My tolerance has always been study, very very slowly growing if ever at all (very fortunate circumstance as I understand it). I would remain particularly sensitive to the drug, only taking half of ONE 50mg pill! This was a find dosage for years, and I would only do this twice a day, maybe 3 times - so I am looking at only 5 to 8 pills a week. No negative side effects besides sleep loss which was easy to conclude - don't take any pills later than about 4pm.
`So, again, sorry - fast forward to today I am all of a sudden finding my tolerance going through the roof! For what reason? Yes this is normal, yes this happens, but what is not normal is the preceding 4 or 5 years of very very very little tolerance increase if any. So what changed seemingly out of no where? I went from half a pill, to 3/4 a pill to a pill and a half to then all the way to 3 pills in one dosage which is where I just said thats enough and I am back to having migraines instead... This tolerance boost happened all in the corse of the past 8 to 1 months... huh? How? Why?
I have moved several times over the past years, changed diets and exercise regiments, nothing has ever effected my tram dosage - I have made no changes otherwise I can think of in the past 8 to 16 months, so why/how can this have happened? More important, what can be done to change it, or STOP the tolerance from growing any more, in the least...!? It may be worth noting, I have tried DXM, that is products containing DXM alone (sometimes listed as
'Dextromethorphan hydrobromide') along with Tram in smaller and in normal size dosages for what my bodies is now used too. It does boost the effects, but only the bad effects. I will chose to not be on anything, rather than being a loopy dumbass. So anyway, DXM does not seem to work for me and negates the effects of which the Tram engaged me in to being with.
