One slide PART 2 - DUE WEEK 5 In part two, the objective is to research and pick a BI company by collecting data from publicly available repositories to describe the general value proposition of this BI solution for the selected organization. Presentation Outline - what should be included in the PowerPoint presentation 1. BI Company: Brief description, years in business, public/private, revenue or market share. Why this company?
One slide 2. BI Product: Briefly describe the BI product you selected: Focus on the business aspects and not the technical details. If the company has more than one product, provide a high-level overview of other products in order to better explain where the product you selected fits in with the rest of the portfolio.
Max of 4 slides 3. BI Case Studies: Include 3 case studies. Describe the use of the product in various industries or sectors relying on case studies, magazine articles, or white papers. Are there other companies in the same or different industry that are using this product? If so, how are they benefiting from it that may be relevant in your case? Make sure to include a summary on your slide and the actual source in the notes section. Max of 3 slides 4. BI Demo/Video: Include at least 1 product demo or video that describes and/or promotes the product. It must demonstrate its business value and cannot be an instruction video or a training module.
