Organized Crime Assignment

Compare and contrast at least two international organized crime groups with regard to their membership, operational methods, operational focus, and geographic area of operations. Identify and assess the connection between these groups and terrorism. Prepare a paper to document your analysis. Your focus should be on:

• The growth of organized crime as a result of globalization. Use the former KGB as an example.

• The partnership of organized crime and international terror groups, if one exists.

• The challenges faced by law enforcement if these partnerships exist.

Support your paper with a minimum of three scholarly resources in addition to your text. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.
