"Class: As you already know, Total Quality Management was developed by a management consultant named William Deming, who worked extensively in Japanese manufacturing.
Total quality management is the continued process of eliminating or reducing errors in manufacturing, improving the overall customer experience, streamlining the supply chain management and ensuring that employee training is updated and implemented. One goal of total quality management is to make sure all involved parties in the production process are accountable for the overall quality of the final service or product. Six Sigma and totally quality management have a lot in common, although Six Sigma focuses on reducing defects while total quality management's focus is reducing errors."
