3- What does it mean to leverage diversity and how can an organization truly use the value added of a multiculturally oriented workplace?

4- What are the challenges for attaining such multicultural diversity? What are the reasons for and against becoming culturally diverse as an organization?

5- Provide a specific example where leveraging diversity supports an organization's competitive advantage

6- Use theories and concepts from the academic literature to support your ideas. Also support your analysis with current industry sources and peer-reviewed journal articles and the like.

Question #3-Informed Decision Making

You are a consultant to the following scenario:twoorganizationshave made decisions to form a strategic partnership (or joint venture). They have enlisted or commissioned you to advise them both as to how they can make the strategic partnership work out as a win-win effort. One organization is a domestic entity and the other is foreign corporation engaged in similar products and services. One company has a strong reputation and brand recognition for high quality and reliability in its products and services and the other has an unassailable distribution network. Both parties have starkly different information systems, cultures, work ethics, and technology platforms in their operations/manufacturing processes.As the consultant for this scenario, please do the following:

1. Discuss the decisions involved in the organizations that need to be made under due diligence to make a successful strategic partnership.

2. Describe and explain what strategies that two entities should develop to meet the challenges they face in assuring that the outcome of the venture will be mutuallybeneficialto both organizations in the partnership.

3. Analyze (a) how the organizations will accommodate widely divergent policies and procedures from their strategic partner, (b) how will the partnership manage the duplication of positions and leverage the synergies of each entity, and (c) how will they assimilate the contrasting cultures. These and two other challenges the organizations will face should be discussed in the answer.

4. To support your decision-making recommendations, please use theories and concepts from the academic literature.Also support your analysis with current research.
