Business is Laundry Service

WHAT WE DO......

Our organization specializes in a customer service based experience that caters to our clients in a unique way. We have all heard on the cloth diaper services of the past, where the service professionals came to your door, picked up the dirty cloth diapers, and dropped off fresh clean ones.

Our organization is like this in many ways, although we have taken it up a level and made it even more convenient for our clients. No, we are not a diaper service, we are so much more, we are a laundry service! You call us, we pick up your laundry at your convenience, we wash it, dry it, fold it/ hang it up and then we return it, again, at your convenience. We all have busy lives, and this service can make people's lives a little bit easier.

We do not always have time to wash our own clothes, and some of us are too busy to even make that trip to the cleaners for drop off and pick up, and then there are those times when you have an important meeting in a few hours, but you spilled your coffee on your blouse and have no time to wash it or grab another shirt, with our service you don't have to. We bring the ultimate customer service experience to your door.

Before entering into any market, it's very important to understand the market of that country along with calculating the risk attached with this. Any organisation, irrespective of the industry does a SWOT analysis i.e Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat before getting into any new market. In this case, the business is Laundry Services, which is booming currently because people want washed clothes bit due to a hectic lifestyle they don't have enough time, and that's where the role of such laundry services comes into play. If I talk about ways or types of entering is a concern, every type has it's own positive and negative sides.

If we take an example of entering into Canada, It's a developing country with mostly political stable. Having connected with the United States of America, Canada has seen tremendous growth in last few years and the culture of Canada is also a very open one, accepting every community without any kind of discrimination. People there are busy ones, and economically Canada has the 10th largest economy and it's one of the world's wealthiest nations. As far as language is a concern, mostly English is being used in Canada.

Out of the given types, I would recommend "Strategic Alliance" to go globally and enter into any new market. The biggest reason of this is, that in the strategic alliance you don't need to go for any expensive acquisition or open subsidiaries to act as per the local culture. Neither, you need to worry about the control like in Exporting and low return like in the licensing. A strategic alliance helps the new entrant to understand the key points of that market with it's strategic partner.

As that strategic partner is the local one, it knows everything about that market and it just needs new ideas, investment and manpower to expand its wings. Adding to this the cost, resources and links all will be shared among those strategic partners, so there would be no burden on one organisation only. Yes, the problem of integration of two corporate culture happens, but then it depends on the organisation and their people how they make themselves adaptable to each other's culture. That would be in the best interest of both partners.
