Nadler-Tushman Congruence Model & Tasty Baking Company

The Nadler-Tushman Congruence Model is a comprehensive diagnostic model, which specifies inputs, throughputs and outputs. This model is based on the assumptions that organizations are open systems, they are dynamic, organizational behavior happens at all levels, and interactions occur between all of these levels. Being strong in terms of inputs, we are asked to analyze our chosen organization's key inputs defined by Nadler and Tushman. The company I selected for this class is the Tasty Baking Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Founded 95 years ago in 1914, Tastykake has provided individually wrapped, fresh snack cakes to the public.
