My son is 16 yrs old, getting ready to start Remicade to treat his CD and the some of the side affects really scare me, especially some things I have read that have happened to young males 16 - 24 yrs old. Can anyone reassure me this is a good route to take? Have been given option of Remicade or Methatrexate. Both scare me but Remicade is supposed to start working in body immediately and MTX can take several weeks. Hope I am doing right med. Input anyone?
