My psych started me on Latuda 40 mg after stopping Geodon, Ask an Expert

My psych started me on Latuda 40 mg after stopping Geodon 40 mg and Lexapro 5 mg. I started getting sleep problems so I again started Geodon, but only 20 mg. Sleep is stabilizing now. But I want to be able to follow doc's first advice that is stop Geodon completely. So my doc prescribed Geodon in liquid form. I am going to start taking 15 mg in a few days. Then slowly taper down further and stop it. Please give me your input on this. Any precautions? I feel ones who have used it sometimes have more experience than the doctors.
