My Mother has nsclc and has been treated with Tarceva for almost a month, with no known signs that it is working. Should I continue her on Tarceva? Are there any symptoms that it could be slow to work?

Her Oncologist said that if Tarceva doesn't work by week two, it probably won't. I just received another 30-day supply of Tarceva and was going to continue with 150 mg. daily and hope for some improvement. Any comments, suggestions or helpful advise?
