My father is diabetic and got kidney malfunction, doc prescribed him calcium acetate but now he developing adverse effect of it,,, mainly headache and stomach pain,,sometimes depression,,, he is also taking keto sterile.If there is any replacement for calcium acetate,if patient developed adverse effects?
