My endocrinologist says to take my one insulin at bedtime. My bedtime changes from day to day. I'm naturally a night owl and stay up late and then sleep into the day. Of course sometimes I have appointments in the morning hours so I have to go to bed earlier so I can be up for them. My question is when they say bedtime, do they actually mean before you lay down to sleep no matter what that time is or do they mean that it should be taken every day in the evening hours?
