My doctor prescribed four tablets a day of Terrazosin, two in the morning and two in the evening. However, the pharmacist could only give me 60 tablets. I called my insurance provider, BlueCrossBlueShield of Louisiana. BCBSLA's explaination was, "we are only following FDA guidelines for this medicine". Is this true? If so, is this drug dangerous? Why only 60 pills at a time for Terrazosin?
