My boyfriend is circumsized, and the dorsal area just below the head becomes inflamed and swollen after sexual intercourse. He says that this area has always been somewhat swollen, but it is progressively getting worse (bulging further out, prolonged swelling, pain) . Most of the swelling occurs on the anatomical left (his right). What can cause area below the head of the penis to swell chronically?
