My boyfriend has been using lidocaine patches for muscle pain for a long time. He has experienced balance problems serious enough to result in several trips to the emergency room. No vertigo, just loss of balance. All tests so far have been negative. Coincidentally he stopped using the patches in favor of magnets. The balance issue has improved dramatically. Maybe just coincidence but encouraging. Any ideas whether they are related?
