PROGRAM EVALUATION

SLP: Fourth Part

Anyone can have a program. In fact, often times one is put together on a whim without really thinking through what the goals will be or how it will be evaluated. However, it is very important to assess the effectiveness of any program to determine if it should continue or be terminated. For the fourth part of your SLP, using information from the readings and your interviewee, answer the following questions concerning the program you selected in Module 1.

1. What are the goals/objectives of the program?
2. What method of evaluation was chosen?
3. Why was this method chosen?
4. What were some of the specific steps used to evalaute the program?
5. What has the program manager discovered about the program based upon an evaluation?

SLP Assignment Expectations

Please make sure that you include scholarly references to support your interview.

1. Be sure to conduct additional research to gather sufficient information to familiarize yourself with the facts of the case and be sure to justify/support your position.

2. Limit your responses to a 2-3 pages. Times new roman font 12 pt. DS. Please use sub headings.

3. Please support your discussions with scholarly support (3-5 references). Be sure to properly cite all references in text citations and reference page

4. Apply critical thinking skills the the assignment component.
