The methods for managing conflict vary in complexity and skill. This means that a group member may consider his or her own capabilities when choosing a communication style to management conflict within their group. In this assignment, you will explore conflict and how to best communicate in situations of conflict.

1. Describe a situation in which you were involved in destructive conflict. How could it have been managed differently?

2. Describe a situation in which you were involved in constructive conflict. How was this situation different from the first?
